The Mountains to the Desert
Every September Steve participates in the Mountains to the Desert bike ride – a fundraiser for Just For Kids Foundation. The race is a one day, 133 mile road ride beginning in the Town of Telluride and finishing in Utah’s high Moab desert. The 150 participant event raised $70,000 last year. Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club
Steve has recently taken on the role as Vice President of Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club. TSSC is a non-profit organization providing regional youth competitive skiing and snowboarding programs. There “mission is to instill and nurture a passion for all snow sports along with developing character, discipline and desire, which encourages young athletes to reach their highest potential.” To the benefit of the community, TSSC works with the regional schools and offers a 6 week ski and snowboard physical education program. Steve Butts Memorial Golf Tournament
As a fundraising event for TSSC, Steve chairs the Steve Butts Memorial Golf Tournament. This tournament is a memorial event honoring long time friend and founder of Telluride Properties, Steve Butts. The event raised over $50,000 for TSSC last year.

The Ah Haa School for the Arts
Steve is a Board of Trustee for the Ah Haa School for the Arts. Founded in 1990, the Ah Haa School provides an environment that encourages “ah haa” moments for every artists at any age or level of experience. The school offers year-round programming for all ages taught by local and international instructors, exhibitions, art abroad programs and visiting artists workshops. One to One San Miguel Mentoring Program
Stephen Cieciuch has been a board of Trustee of One to One for the last three years as well as a mentor. One to One provides mentoring experiences for regional children, ages 5-17. To learn more about One to One visit www.onetoonetelluride.com.
