High Altitude Tips
Telluride rests at 8,750 feet. To combat the potential affects of altitude sickness (which include headache, nausea and dizziness) drink twice the amount of water you should normally consume. It is wise to limit caffeine and alcohol intake the first couple of days as these can exacerbate dehydration
Sun Exposure
Between the fresh snow and the altitude the reflection of the sun is greater. Be sure to apply sunscreen several times throughout the day.
