Telluride's Calendar of Events

Some of the longest-running summer festivals began early in the 1970s. The Telluride Film Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Telluride Chamber Music and the Imogene Pass Run were the first of what is now a full summer of festival enjoyment. Mountain Film
May 27 - 30, 2011

Telluride Balloon Rally
June 4 - 5, 2011
Look to the skies above Town Park at sunrise and at sunset, visit the main street balloon glow.

Wild West Fest
June 6 - 11, 2011A family oriented festival that celebrates the spirit of the West.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival
June 16 - 19, 2011
Four days of toe tapping bluegrass-based music in Town Park. Quick to sell out.

Telluride Wine Festival
June 23 - 26, 2011
This multi-day event features winemakers' luncheons, cooking demonstrations, reserve programs, seminars, and tastings for novices and experts alike.

Fireman's Fourth of July
July 4, 2011
4th of July small town style. Join or enjoy the main street parade, the Town Park bbq with kids games and lots of laughs. At nightfall the celebration turns to the sky with spectacular fireworks. For more information or a schedule of events call Telluride's Tourism Board at 970-728-1904.

Telluride Yoga Festival
July 14 - 17, 2011This event combines the expertise of both nationally acclaimed and local yoga practitioners. Workshops will be offered for all levels as well as related seminars.

Koto's Yankee Doodle Doo-Dah Concert
July 11, 2009
Tickets are now available for Koto's annual fundraising concert in Telluride's Town Park. This year features George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic along with Rusted Root. The Gate opens at 4pm.

Rotary 4X4 Rally
July 22- 24, 2011
Telluride 4x4 Tour includes a guided off-road tours on Saturday and Sunday, plus 2 BBQ dinners. Limited to 50 4x4s to keep the event small and enjoyable.

Telluride Jazz Celebration
August 5 - 7, 2011
